Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Plumbing Apprentice to join our team on commercial construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn the plumbing trade, gain hands-on experience, and build a rewarding career under the guidance of experienced journeyman and master plumbers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers in installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems on commercial construction sites.
- Perform tasks such as digging, cutting, assembling, and installing pipes, fittings, and fixtures according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Prepare job sites by gathering materials, tools, and equipment as directed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Learn and apply plumbing codes, standards, and best practices under supervision.
- Support other team members in completing projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current state of Texas plumbing apprentice registration or plumbing license.
- Basic knowledge of tools, materials, and methods used in plumbing
- Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Prior experience in construction or a related trade.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work full-time, including occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
- Commitment to learning and adhering to industry safety standards.
- Strong communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude.
- Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $18–$25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Job Description
As a Commercial Construction Plumbing Foreman, you will oversee plumbing crews, manage project timelines, and operate heavy machinery to ensure efficient and safe completion of commercial plumbing installations. You will be responsible for coordinating with project managers, ensuring compliance with blueprints and codes, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise plumbing crews on commercial construction sites.
- Operate machinery such as excavators, backhoes, and trenchers for plumbinginstallations.
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans to execute tasks accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Coordinate material deliveries and manage inventory on-site.
- Train and mentor junior plumbers and laborers.
- Maintain and inspect equipment to ensure operational safety.
- Communicate progress and issues to project managers and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in commercial plumbing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Machine Operation: Proven experience operating heavy machinery (e.g., excavators, loaders, trenchers, skid steers, lifts). Valid operator certification preferred.
- Licensing: Valid journeyman plumbing license required.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and installation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficient in maintaining safety standards and protocols.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Other: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
